CCoE Governance Specialist

About the role

The organization is looking for a senior CCoE Governance Specialist to lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of its Cloud Center of Excellence. The role focuses on establishing governance frameworks, operating models and policies for cloud and AI initiatives while ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain cloud and AI governance frameworks, standards, policies and controls across Azure, AWS and GCP environments.
• Organise and facilitate governance boards, steering committees and working groups, preparing decision papers and executive presentations.
• Define roles, responsibilities and accountability using RACI matrices and manage stakeholder engagement across technology, security, risk, legal, procurement and finance.
• Create executive dashboards, KPI reports and performance metrics to monitor cloud adoption, compliance and risk.
• Support internal and external audits, conduct risk assessments and drive continuous improvement of governance practices.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in technology or cloud governance, with at least 5 years in a Cloud Center of Excellence environment.
• Proven track record of developing governance frameworks, operating models and executive reporting structures.
• Extensive experience working with senior executives (CIO, CTO, CDO) in large‑scale enterprise transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and cybersecurity requirements applicable to cloud and AI services.

• Azure, AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
• COBIT, ITIL and TOGAF governance methodologies.
• Azure Solutions Architect / Azure Administrator certifications.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect.
• CISA, CRISC and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor certifications.
