About the role
Grand Hyatt Kuwait is seeking a passionate Chef De Cuisine to lead the kitchen of Liberté, a modern brasserie located in the 360 Mall. The role involves hands‑on leadership, overseeing day‑to‑day operations of an all‑day dining concept and delivering innovative, classic‑inspired dishes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the kitchen team to maintain high culinary standards.
- Ensure smooth and efficient daily operations of the brasserie.
- Develop, test, and execute menu items that reflect modern creativity and classic roots.
- Manage inventory, cost control, and waste reduction.
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to ensure seamless service.
- Support pre‑opening activities and large‑scale hotel operations when required.
Required profile
- Proven experience as Chef De Cuisine in a brasserie or specialty restaurant.
- Strong people‑management and communication abilities.
- Inspirational leadership style with a passion for food trends.
- Experience in pre‑opening environments within large hotel operations is advantageous.
