Chief Operating Officer (Head of Operations)

About the role

FAIB is looking for an entrepreneurial and commercially driven Chief Operating Officer to lead its Kuwait operations. This senior leadership position combines operational discipline, regulatory compliance, and a strong sales and business‑development mindset within an insurance‑broking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth across corporate, retail and reinsurance‑referral business lines.
• Personally develop and convert corporate prospects while overseeing the sales pipeline and client‑retention agenda.
• Build and maintain insurer relationships, secure placement agreements, and expand FAIB’s carrier panel.
• Lead day‑to‑day operations including quotation turnaround, policy issuance, collections and IRU compliance.
• Develop a high‑performing team and embed a client‑first, commercially accountable culture.
• Champion digitisation, CRM adoption and AI‑enabled operational workflows.
• Establish strategic partnerships with the International Partner Lockton.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of executive experience, preferably in insurance broking or related financial services.
• Proven track record in strategic planning and business development.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
