About the role

The American Baccalaureate School is seeking an enthusiastic Computer Science & Robotics Teacher to join the faculty immediately. The role involves delivering high‑quality instruction in computer science, technology, and robotics, fostering computational thinking and hands‑on problem solving.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured lessons in computer science, technology, and robotics across grade levels.
• Teach foundational and advanced concepts such as digital literacy, computational thinking, programming, and technology applications.
• Provide hands‑on robotics instruction, including design, construction, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of robotic systems.
• Integrate coding, engineering, and project‑based learning into classroom activities.
• Create a stimulating, well‑managed classroom and technology lab environment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student abilities and learning needs.
• Assess, record, and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback.
• Communicate student performance to parents and collaborate with department heads and support staff.
• Maintain classroom technology, robotics equipment, and instructional materials.
• Support extracurricular STEM activities and attend faculty meetings and professional development events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Education with a technology specialization, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach computer science and robotics concepts to students.
• Strong classroom management skills and commitment to high academic standards.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and staff.
