Middle/High School Science Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

The American Baccalaureate School (ABS) seeks an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join its Middle and High School teams immediately. You will inspire students from grades 6‑12 with engaging lessons, hands‑on experiments, and a rigorous college‑preparatory curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Teach science courses across grades 6‑12, following the ABS curriculum.
• Plan and deliver lessons that promote curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
• Design, implement, and assess laboratory experiments, projects, and assignments.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Maintain accurate student progress records and communicate regularly with parents.
• Ensure safe use of laboratory equipment and conduct risk assessments for all experiments.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid teaching license or certification.
• Minimum of 2 years successful science teaching experience.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Commitment to ABS’s mission of preparing responsible global citizens.
