Consultant – Geriatric Medicine

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Geriatric Consultant to deliver specialised medical care to elderly patients in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in geriatric medicine, postgraduate experience, and the required GCI and GCA accreditation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical assessment and treatment for elderly patients.
• Diagnose and manage age‑related and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment and care plans.
• Monitor patients' health, medications, and clinical progress.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Guide patients and families regarding treatment and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to healthcare standards.

Required profile

• Master’s or postgraduate degree in a relevant medical specialty.
• Several years of post‑graduation experience.
• Several years of experience as a Geriatric Consultant or Specialist.
• GCI and GCA accreditation required.
• Strong clinical expertise and Arabic communication skills.
