Customer Service Officer – Cinema Guest Services

About the role

Join the VOX Cinemas team as a Customer Service Officer and deliver exceptional hospitality to movie‑goers. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth, enjoyable cinema experience from ticket purchase to exit.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist with ticket purchases, seat selections, and promotions at counters or digital kiosks.
• Process cash, card, and digital transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Provide information on movie schedules, loyalty programs, and ongoing offers.
• Upsell tickets, combo deals, and retail items to maximize revenue.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized box office and lobby area.
• Monitor guest flow to prevent queues and coordinate with F&B and cinema operations teams.
• Record transactions, refunds, and generate required reports.
• Support colleagues during peak periods, special events, and promotions.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in food & beverage or hospitality; cinema or restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment.
• Flexible availability for shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Adherence to hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards.
