Electrical Site Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join our team immediately on a 400 kV Overhead Transmission Line project in Kuwait. The role involves supervising all electrical construction activities on‑site and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate tower erection, conductor, earth wire and OPGW stringing, sagging and tensioning.
• Oversee installation of insulators, fittings, clamps, spacers, vibration dampers and other line hardware.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements and utility requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and prepare daily/weekly site reports.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower, equipment, materials and progress.
• Review technical documents, resolve site issues and liaise with civil, planning, safety, QA/QC and client teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on high‑voltage (HV) overhead transmission line projects, preferably 400 kV.
• Immediate availability to start.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of tower erection and conductor stringing, sagging, tensioning, and OPGW installation.
• Understanding of HV transmission line construction methods, standards and quality requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Strong site coordination and problem‑solving capabilities.
