Event Service Expert

About the role

As an Event Service Expert at Courtyard by Marriott, you will help create memorable guest experiences by ensuring every event runs smoothly from setup to breakdown. You will work closely with guests, teammates, and supervisors to deliver high‑quality service in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, and audio‑visual equipment.
• Transport supplies and materials to and from event locations.
• Take guest orders, serve food and beverages, and interact with attendees to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain a safe workplace by following all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Uphold professional appearance, uniform standards, and clear communication at all times.
• Stand, walk, and move for extended periods; lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related experience in hospitality or event service.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work full‑time, on‑site, and handle physical demands of the role.
