Barista – Full‑time

About the role

The Barista will be responsible for delivering high‑quality coffee and beverage service in a busy hotel environment. You will handle opening and closing duties, operate cash registers, and ensure a clean, welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing tasks, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
• Take guest orders, record them in the MICROS system, and prepare coffee and other beverages.
• Operate cash register systems, collect payments, provide change, and reconcile cash at shift end.
• Maintain work areas, stock stations, and ensure coffee makers and other appliances are turned on/off as needed.
• Bus coffee cart areas and tables, clean dishes, utensils, and work surfaces throughout the shift.
• Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies and report any incidents.
• Present a clean, professional uniform and appearance, and uphold confidentiality of company information.
• Provide courteous service, assist guests with disabilities, and communicate clearly with team members.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required; entry‑level candidates are welcome.

Required skills

• Cash register system operation.
• MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
• Use and maintenance of coffee makers.
