Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will supervise cost accounting for Vectrus Mission Systems, ensuring strong cash flow management and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires solid knowledge of US GAAP, cost accounting principles, and strong analytical abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update monthly project forecasts.
• Review monthly financial statements and revenue recognition.
• Prepare project Estimate at Completion (EAC) and annual operating plans.
• Coordinate with Vectrus Systems Corporation headquarters on intercompany charge flows.
• Ensure compliance with Cost Accounting Standards and the Sarbanes‑Oxley Act.
• Produce monthly forecasting and reporting using cost accounting data.
• Support VAT and statutory tax filings, including schedule development.
• Provide accurate backup and reports for internal and external auditors.
• Assist the Finance Manager/Director on ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience; one year of experience may substitute for one year of education.
• Three to five years of accounting experience, preferably with US GAAP knowledge.
• Familiarity with cost accounting principles is a plus.
• General office work environment with extended periods of data entry.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
