GCSS Army/AWARDS Data Entry Clerk

About the role

The Data Entry Clerk will be based in Kuwait and will support the Army/AWARDS program by managing government material and property using automated logistics systems. The role ensures accurate receipt, inventory, and issue of materiel while complying with contractual and financial requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, inventory, and issue Government Material/Property.
• Maintain automated stock records in Maximo, IFS, and GCSS‑A.
• Submit acquisitions, track orders, and perform receipt transactions in GCSS‑A.
• Process customer materiel/equipment orders and validate contractual requirements.
• Perform 3‑way match, segregate, and issue materiel to customers.
• Screen and validate acquisitions for financial and contractual compliance.
• Coordinate, reconcile, and expedite acquisitions using DLA Logistics systems.
• Run daily and reorder analysis reports; submit replenishment orders.
• Validate and process supplier invoices for approval and payment.
• Maintain and archive records in accordance with GCSS‑Army policies.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (or one year related experience).
• U.S. citizenship and CAC eligibility (or ability to obtain a Common Access Card).
• GCSS‑A certification desired; must complete required training within 90 days.
• Experience with military or commercial supply management systems.
• Strong knowledge of automated financial and accounting systems.
