General Manager – Signage, Printing & Branding

About the role

A company specialising in signage, printing, branding and custom fabrication solutions in Kuwait is looking for an experienced, commercially driven General Manager. The role covers overall business operations, commercial performance and growth, and suits someone with a background in signage, printing, branding, exhibition production or custom fabrication, with proven experience managing operations, sales, production teams, client relationships and P&L.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall business operations, including sales, design, production, fabrication, installation and project delivery.
• Take full responsibility for P&L, including revenue, budgets, project margins, operational costs and profitability.
• Develop business strategies to grow revenue, expand the client portfolio and strengthen market presence.
• Oversee business development, key client relationships, commercial negotiations and major project opportunities.
• Manage execution of signage, branding, printing and fabrication projects, ensuring quality, cost efficiency and timely delivery.
• Oversee workshop operations: production planning, manpower, machinery use, materials and workflow.
• Review estimates, quotations, pricing and costing to ensure competitive proposals and profitable projects.
• Coordinate sales, design, production and installation teams from enquiry to handover.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and installation teams.
• Monitor schedules, production capacity, material consumption, wastage and operating expenses.
• Ensure quality standards and technical specifications are met on all projects.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams with clear responsibilities, targets and KPIs.
• Identify process improvements and new business opportunities across commercial, corporate and retail sectors.
• Provide regular business performance reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a General Manager, Operations Manager or Business Unit Manager role.
• Industry experience in signage, printing, branding, advertising production, exhibition production, custom fabrication or interior fit-out.
• Experience managing P&L, business development, project costing, pricing, budgets and profitability.
• Experience leading teams across sales, design, production, fabrication and installation.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the Kuwait signage, advertising, printing and fabrication market is an advantage.
