GIS Specialist

About the role

The GIS Specialist will manage, analyze, and maintain geospatial data to support project planning and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organize, validate, update, and maintain geospatial datasets and databases.
• Perform spatial analysis, data processing, and geographic assessments to support decision‑making.
• Prepare, update, and produce digital and thematic maps based on project specifications.
• Manage GIS databases, attribute tables, coordinate systems, and spatial data layers.
• Integrate geospatial data from GPS/GNSS surveys, CAD drawings, satellite imagery, and other sources.
• Maintain GIS records, metadata, data inventories, and technical documentation.
• Provide GIS information, maps, and analytical outputs to project teams and assist users with technical queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Computer Science, GIS, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in GIS data management, processing, and spatial analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Geospatial data management and database maintenance.
• Spatial analysis and digital map preparation.
