Service Desk Administrator (IT Help Desk) – Camp Arifjan, Kuwait

About the role

The Service Desk Administrator provides front‑line IT support at Camp Arifjan, handling computer, printer and network issues for military and civilian users. The role requires rapid decision‑making, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage and route trouble tickets using ServiceNow.

Key responsibilities

• Respond in‑person, by phone, or via ServiceNow to all user requests, troubleshooting hardware, software and network problems.
• Log, track and assign unresolved tickets to the appropriate IT groups, ensuring timely resolution.
• Create and manage user accounts, email mailboxes and distribution lists in Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Maintain print queues, server resources and Cisco VMPS configurations.
• Document all activities for accurate reporting and continuous‑improvement reporting.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret (or higher) security clearance.
• High school diploma or GED plus at least one year of service‑desk or help‑desk experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an International Driver’s Permit, pass medical and dental exams, and complete CRC training for overseas deployment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and interpersonal skills.
