Head of Consumer Electronics Department

About the role

Al Mulla Electronics is seeking a senior leader to head its Consumer Electronics division. The role will drive sales growth, manage key retailer and channel relationships, and ensure seamless execution of product launches across the market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual business plans, portfolio strategies and sales forecasts based on market data.
• Design and execute marketing, promotional, in‑store and merchandising initiatives to support product launches.
• Monitor performance, identify gaps and take corrective actions to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Build and nurture relationships with retailers, channel partners and key accounts, promoting cross‑selling and up‑selling.
• Lead regular business review meetings and present strategic plans to secure stakeholder alignment.
• Scout and onboard new retailers and partners, ensuring optimal in‑store product presentation.
• Oversee inventory management, sell‑through monitoring and scenario planning in collaboration with key account managers.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of sales experience in consumer electronics, home appliances or a related sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Professional certifications in sales or strategic account management are advantageous.
