Institutional Research Officer

About the role

The Institutional Research Officer will develop and produce statistical and analytical reports to support Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness at a private university in Kuwait. The role requires deep knowledge of accreditation standards and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake analysis and validation of extracted data to ensure accuracy for decision‑making and regulatory compliance.
• Produce data visualizations (charts, dashboards, narrative analysis) to clearly interpret institutional data for diverse audiences.
• Develop complex reports and data sets to meet recurring internal and external reporting requests.
• Provide technical assistance to university units on educational research, trend analysis, and enrollment analysis.
• Coordinate data collection and analyze institutional surveys for program reviews, accreditations, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain archival research information for key performance indicators and trend analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 8–10 years of Institutional Research experience in higher education.

Required skills

• Proficiency with statistical programming languages such as SAS and R.
• Strong background in research methodology, statistics, and quantitative analysis.
