Insulator – Mechanical Installation & Insulation

About the role

The Insulator will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing and insulation of mechanical piping systems for KDD projects. The role requires strict adherence to international standards, dairy industry specifications and KDD safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Install, align, test and commission mechanical piping systems and related fittings.
• Perform insulation and cladding works on piping using various material types.
• Interpret assembly instructions and ensure correct parts, tools and materials are available.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with SOPs and HSE regulations.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding safely; operate forklift, reach truck, scissor lift and genie boom where certified.
• Obtain and follow all required permits, including Hot Work and Working at Height permits.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment using 5S methodology.
• Report progress, issues and site requirements to supervisors or project engineers.

Required profile

• Valid Trade Certificate in a relevant mechanical field.
• Proven experience in project‑based mechanical installation or maintenance.
• Strong hands‑on skills in piping, fitting, insulation and related mechanical works.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and site instructions.
• High awareness of Health, Safety and Environment standards.
