Junior Sous Chef – All‑Day Dining

About the role

Four Seasons is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to lead the kitchen team of its all‑day dining restaurant in Kuwait City. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring food quality, and supporting menu development in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the kitchen team in line with Four Seasons service culture and standards.
• Maintain strict compliance with HACCP, food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Monitor food quality, taste, presentation, temperature and portioning.
• Collaborate with the Executive Sous Chef on menu development, seasonal offerings and promotions.
• Support employee development through training, coaching and performance feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within an all‑day dining, multi‑cuisine restaurant, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Strong knowledge of international cuisines, food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train and develop a diverse culinary team.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English and ability to work flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays.
