Operations Inspection Supervisor

About the role

The Operations Inspection Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that warehouse operations meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. This role involves daily site inspections, inventory audits, and coordination with cross‑functional teams to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections, inventory audits, safety/compliance checks, and asset verifications while developing and improving warehouse inspection standards.
• Perform weekly warehouse standardization and inventory accuracy audits, focusing on FIFO, location accuracy, product quality, and management of slow‑moving, overstock, near‑expiry, and expired goods.
• Carry out safety and 6S workplace inspections covering fire exits, equipment, and overall warehouse conditions, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Lead high‑value inventory counts, loss investigations, and abnormal inventory checks to identify shrinkage, discrepancies, and operational risks.
• Inspect key warehouse processes—including receiving, putaway, storage, picking, dispatch, and returns—and drive process improvements.
• Maintain an issue log with clear owners, corrective actions, and deadlines, and follow up through closure.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, inventory management, audit, loss prevention, or warehouse quality; experience in a large distribution center is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes such as receiving, putaway, picking, dispatch, inventory management, and reverse logistics.
• Understanding of inventory accuracy, FIFO, product quality, 6S, safety, and shrinkage, with solid problem‑solving, data analysis, and investigation skills.
• Ability to independently drive cross‑functional corrective actions and follow up through closure; good English communication skills (Arabic a plus).
