SSA Operations Worker – Warehouse Technician IV

About the role

SSA Operations Workers execute functional tasks across receiving, issuing, stock control, turn‑in, MHE operations and COMSEC control. The role ensures timely processing of materiel, accurate accountability and safe handling in compliance with GCSS‑Army workflows. This position is based internationally, supporting supply chain operations in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, off‑load, inspect, verify and process inbound materiel from various carriers.
• Match documentation (TCNs, MROs, manifests, NIINs) and process receipts, issues and turn‑ins in GCSS‑Army.
• Stage, label, store and consolidate materiel for issue or further processing.
• Conduct daily inventories, cyclic counts, sensitive item checks and location surveys.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other MHE safely to move materiel.
• Handle COMSEC and CCI materials with proper stamping, segregation and controlled access.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of warehouse or supply‑chain experience.
• U.S. citizenship, valid passport and ability to meet deployment screening requirements.
• Willingness to deploy to SWA or other assigned locations and work in extreme‑heat environments.
• Ability to stand, lift and carry up to 40 lbs for extended periods.

Required skills

• Forklift and MHE operation (certification provided).
• GCSS‑Army receipt, issue and inventory management.
• Supply chain, warehousing and supply management processes.
• HAZMAT/HAZCOM handling and certification.
• COMSEC and CCI material control.
