About the role

The Patient Care Tech I provides essential support to patients and families on the 2nd Floor Rehab unit, assisting with basic care, monitoring, and hygiene while ensuring comprehensive care delivery as part of the healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with basic patient care, monitoring, and hygiene.
• Ensure completeness of patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Maintain compassionate, caring interactions and effective communication with patients, families, and staff.

Required profile

• Completion of at least 12 college credit hours, including English Composition with a grade of C or higher and a minimum GPA of 2.0 (transcripts verified).
• Healthcare or service‑industry experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and strong organizational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and apply new healthcare‑related skills and collaborate consistently with the care team.
• Proactive problem‑solving and anticipation of patient needs.

Required skills

• CPR certification (provided through employer training).
