Patient Care Tech I – Night Shift (2nd Floor Rehab)

About the role

The Patient Care Tech I (PCT) works on the 2nd Floor Rehab unit during the night shift (6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.). The PCT assists patients and families with basic care, monitoring, and hygiene, ensuring that care plans are fully executed.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bedside assistance with daily living activities and hygiene.
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Support the care team in delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care.

Required profile

• Completion of at least 12 college credit hours, including English Composition with a grade of C or higher.
• Overall GPA of 2.0 or greater (transcripts verified).
• Healthcare or service‑industry experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and a night schedule.
• Strong organization, verbal and written communication abilities.

Required skills

• CPR certification (provided).
• Ability to learn and apply new healthcare‑related skills.
• Problem‑solving and proactive anticipation of patient needs.
