Patient Access Ambassador

About the role

The Patient Access Ambassador is the first point of contact for patients at Taiba Hospital, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from registration through to appointment completion. The role focuses on accurate data entry, insurance verification, and delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Patient Registration: collect and verify Civil ID, insurance and medical data, and ensure accurate entry into the system.
• Insurance Verification: confirm coverage, expiry dates and benefits, and obtain pre‑authorisations when required.
• Appointment Scheduling: book, reschedule and confirm visits, and keep daily schedules up‑to‑date.
• Customer Service: greet patients warmly, answer questions and resolve concerns promptly.
• Communication & Coordination: handle contact‑center inquiries and liaise with clinical and administrative teams.
• Administrative Support: maintain records, assist billing/financial closing and uphold reception‑area standards.
• Compliance & Confidentiality: ensure regulatory compliance and protect patient data privacy.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field (University degree preferred).
• 1–3 years experience in patient services, hospitality, aviation or telecom front‑line roles.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
• Tech‑savvy with proficiency in CRM, Hospital Information System (HIS) and MS Office.
• High emotional intelligence and service orientation under pressure.
• Professional grooming and excellent interpersonal skills.
