Physical Therapist Floater – Outpatient Therapy

About the role

The Physical Therapist Floater provides outpatient therapy services across multiple locations, delivering independent and accountable care to a complex patient population. This day‑shift position (8 am‑5 pm) supports the Therapy Central Office and contributes to professional and departmental growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy treatment for outpatients.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with Arkansas State Board regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in department initiatives aimed at service enhancement.
• Ensure a safe environment and proper equipment usage.
• Adhere to a bi‑weekly schedule of 80 hours, working day shifts.

Required profile

• Valid Arkansas State Board license for Physical Therapy.
• Minimum one year of professional experience or completion of facility competencies required for Staff Therapist II.
• CPR certification (can be obtained after hire).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
