About the role

The School of Business at the American International University in Kuwait seeks a full‑time faculty member in Economics. The appointment can be at the rank of Full Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate Economics courses that integrate theory, contemporary issues, and real‑world applications.
• Incorporate AI, data analytics, digital tools, and interactive learning platforms into the curriculum.
• Continuously update course content to align with emerging economic trends and accreditation standards.
• Supervise senior projects, provide academic advising, and mentor students.
• Participate in program assessment, accreditation activities, and departmental service.

Required profile

• PhD in Economics.
• Minimum five years of university‑level teaching experience with a record of excellence.
• Strong expertise in economic theory, quantitative methods, and econometrics.
• Demonstrated ability to develop technology‑enhanced curricula.
• Excellent English communication and student‑engagement skills.
