Professor of Educational Psychology (Full/Associate/Assistant)

About the role

The School of Education at American International University seeks full‑time faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Educational Psychology. The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum development, research, and community outreach while supporting the university’s mission of excellence in teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver psychology instruction in didactic, laboratory, and classroom settings.
• Collaborate with department chair and peers to evaluate, revise, and develop curriculum.
• Provide frequent, timely assessment and clear feedback on student performance.
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records of attendance, grading, and learning outcomes.
• Proctor examinations, participate in departmental meetings, and serve on college task forces or committees.
• Maintain appropriate office hours proportional to instructional load.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and college missions.

Required profile

• PhD in Educational Psychology or a closely related discipline.
• Proven excellence in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate psychology courses.
• Record of research, publications, and professional achievements in relevant fields.
