Project Manager - Remediation Projects

About the role

Worley is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale contaminated‑soil remediation initiatives as part of the Kuwait Environmental Remediation Program (KERP). You will be responsible for transforming impacted land into safe, productive ecosystems while overseeing complex engineering operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall management, coordination, and oversight of assigned remediation projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and contractor performance are met.
• Develop and implement delivery strategies for remediation work packages, covering site characterization, excavation, segregation, handling, transportation, treatment, containment, validation, and close‑out.
• Manage specialist remediation contractors and technical service providers on behalf of the client.
• Ensure activities comply with contractual, environmental, and OHSE requirements and meet approved Remediation Target Criteria.
• Identify and mitigate technical, environmental, operational, commercial, and delivery risks.
• Coordinate remediation work with oil‑field operations, access constraints, and existing infrastructure.
• Provide accurate reporting on project status, quantities, performance, schedule, costs, risks, and forecasts.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large environmental remediation projects, preferably contaminated‑soil projects.
• Strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage specialist contractors.
• Demonstrated competence in client and stakeholder management, with a focus on delivering on schedule and budget.
• Commitment to a robust health, safety, and environment culture.
