About the role
The Physical Therapy (PT) Assistant will support an agency‑based inpatient rehabilitation unit, delivering care to a complex patient population. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the assistant is expected to act independently and be accountable for high‑quality patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide appropriate therapeutic care to inpatients as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Demonstrate independence and accountability while handling complex cases.
- Complete all facility competency assessments and maintain required documentation.
- Assist with patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress tracking.
Required profile
- Valid Arkansas State Board license for Physical Therapy assistance.
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to meet all facility competency requirements.
