Real Property Specialist

About the role

The Real Property Specialist supports the planning, development, and maintenance of real property facilities on a DoD installation. The role ensures accurate property records, oversees space utilization, and coordinates day‑to‑day operations to deliver quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Attend required meetings and act as the point of contact for real property matters.
• Maintain and validate real property records in government tracking systems.
• Conduct space utilization studies and provide recommendations for optimal use of facilities.
• Coordinate space requests, verify requirements, and collaborate with base agencies on master‑planning and site‑planning projects.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, maintenance, personnel, and services at the assigned location.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience managing and recording real property.
• US citizenship required for facility credentials/authorization.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong judgment, multitasking ability and capacity to work independently.
• Preferred experience with DoD installations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Extensive working knowledge of AutoCAD 2010 or later.
