Remote Farsi Instructor

About the role

Berlitz is seeking a part‑time, freelance Farsi instructor to teach students online. You will use the Berlitz Method to create a supportive environment where learners can experiment with the language and achieve their goals. The position offers a flexible schedule and a casual dress code.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lessons using provided material and tailor them to each student’s needs.
• Create a risk‑free environment that encourages students to make mistakes and practice freely.
• Document student progress after each lesson.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Farsi and intermediate English.
• Teaching experience is a plus but not required.
• Exceptional communication skills.

Required skills

• PC or laptop running Windows 11 or higher, or macOS 11 or higher.
• USB headset and webcam.
• Wired internet connection with at least 15 Mbps download and upload speeds.
• Backup power system for areas with load‑shedding.
• CPU with a base speed of at least 2 GHz.
• RAM of 8 GB or more.
