About the role
The American International University (AIU) in Kuwait is seeking a Visiting Instructor to teach undergraduate mathematics courses. This temporary faculty position supports the School of Education’s mission to deliver high‑quality, American‑style higher education.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate lectures, tutorials and assessments in Mathematics and related subjects in line with AIU’s curriculum.
- Provide mentorship, academic advising and support to students throughout their studies.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members on curriculum design, course development and continuous improvement.
- Participate in departmental activities that enhance the intellectual and cultural environment of the university.
Required profile
- PhD in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proven university‑level teaching experience in mathematics.
- Relevant industry experience that enriches classroom instruction.
- Strong commitment to teaching excellence and student success.
