Research & Development Specialist – Eyewear

About the role

We are seeking a Research & Development Specialist – Eyewear to drive the creation of innovative eyewear products, private‑label collections, and celebrity collaborations. The role will combine market research, product development, and cross‑functional coordination to bring new designs to market.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and trend analysis within the eyewear industry.
• Support product development from concept and sampling through costing, production, and launch.
• Research and coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Track sales, product performance, and customer insights to identify new opportunities.
• Assist in the development of celebrity eyewear collections.
• Coordinate with Category, Marketing, Creative, Supply Chain, and Account Management teams.
• Maintain product development pipelines, samples, supplier communication, and launch timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with internships or projects are welcome.
• Strong research, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong interest in eyewear, fashion, retail, and consumer trends.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic is an advantage.
• Based in Kuwait or willing to relocate; willingness to travel internationally.
