Team Leader – Media & Communications

About the role

The Team Leader – Media & Communications will head the department that defines how the company presents itself both internally and externally. You will own the brand, guide a small creative team, and act as the primary communications partner for all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and set priorities for the communications team, managing workload and performance.
• Run a clear request‑and‑approval process for other departments and manage the department budget, suppliers and vendor relationships.
• Own and enforce brand guidelines across all touchpoints, maintain the central brand asset library and standard templates.
• Design and procure corporate attire, giveaways and oversee corporate photo‑shoots and video production.
• Manage company websites, ensuring content accuracy and coordinating with IT or external agencies.
• Run LinkedIn and Instagram channels, and produce internal newsletters, press releases and other communications.
• Support business development with marketing collateral, trade‑show materials, award submissions and corporate events.
• Lead CSR initiatives and organise company‑wide events and sports/social activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, Business or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, branding or marketing, with at least 5 years leading a team.
• Strong B2B background, preferably in construction, engineering, oil, gas or power sectors.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, suppliers and multiple concurrent deadlines.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of design/vector tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience with video/motion‑graphics production workflows (e.g., After Effects).
• Familiarity with web content‑management platforms.
• Proficiency in managing social‑media platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram.
