About the role
We are looking for a full‑time Retail Sales Assistant to join The Carpet Guy, a vintage and antiques store in Kuwait. The store offers a curated selection of furniture, carpets, books, art and décor, both in‑store and online. The role involves assisting customers in‑store, handling sales transactions and supporting the day‑to‑day operation of the shop.
Key responsibilities
- Assist shoppers on the shop floor and provide product information.
- Process sales and manage cash transactions.
- Maintain the store’s organization and visual presentation.
- Support daily operational tasks such as stock handling and store upkeep.
Required profile
- Strong customer service and experience skills.
- Clear, confident communication in English and Arabic.
- Retail sales abilities to identify needs, present products and close sales.
- Reliability, attention to detail and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
- Prior retail or sales experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
