Merchandiser

About the role

We are looking for a Merchandiser to work closely with the Assistant Buyer or Buyer, ensuring that the brand’s product range aligns with the sales plan and market demand.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze past sales figures and trends to forecast future product needs.
• Communicate the merchandise plan to the buyer, influencing product, style, colour, and supplier decisions.
• Determine call schedules, discuss special instructions, promotions, new products, and price changes with the buyer.
• Maintain relationships with store managers and staff, addressing questions and special requests.
• Monitor store shelves, remove damaged or outdated items, and ensure optimal product displays.
• Restock shelves from inventory, track stock levels, and prompt re‑ordering when necessary.
• Complete call reports, noting competitor pricing and displays.
• Observe daily promotions, gather customer feedback, and report observations to management.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience in retail or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Fluent in spoken Arabic and English.
• Strong commercial awareness and competitive analysis abilities.
• Good computer literacy and reporting skills.
• Effective communication skills.
