Retail Store Manager – Toys “R” Us

About the role

The Store Manager will lead the Toys "R" Us location at Aventura Mall, driving sales performance while ensuring growth, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience. You will oversee daily operations, develop staff, and maintain high merchandising standards.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion targets.
• Develop and execute strategies to maximize sales and control expenses.
• Implement loss‑prevention measures, manage inventory, stock movements, returns and exchanges.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and store procedures.
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain high‑quality associates.
• Lead weekly staff meetings and daily briefings to communicate performance and goals.
• Maintain customer service excellence through coaching and continuous assessment.
• Apply visual merchandising standards, promotions, and keep the sales floor and stockroom organized and clean.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strategic planning and execution skills.
• Proficiency in loss prevention and inventory management.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 1‑2 years of store‑manager experience with proven sales and profit results.
• Business‑level English (written and verbal).
• Computer literacy including Outlook, Excel, SAP, and report analysis.
