RN – 2nd Floor Rehab (Night Shift)

About the role

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 2nd Floor Rehabilitation unit on the night shift (6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.). The RN will deliver safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Follow department policies and organizational procedures to ensure a high‑quality patient experience.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff in the rehab unit.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in patient status.
• Participate in unit‑specific education and training programs.

Required profile

• New RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Active Arkansas nursing license; BSN preferred.
• Ability to work as a full partner within an interdisciplinary team.
• Not currently enrolled in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program.
• Healthcare CPR certification required; ACLS, PALS, and/or NALS may be required (training provided).

Required skills

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – training provided if needed
• NALS (Neonatal Advanced Life Support) – training provided if needed
