RPA Munitions Technician – Deployment Pool (K)

About the role

The employee will join a Deployment Pool supporting RPA (Remotely Piloted Aircraft) missions worldwide. The role involves assembling, renovating, transporting, modifying, and destroying various munitions, as well as maintaining aircraft armament systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, renovate, transport, load, deactivate, modify, destroy, and handle missiles, precision weapons, and gravity bombs.
• Perform installation, configuration changes, repair, and adjustment of aircraft armament systems and components.
• Conduct maintenance, modification, destruction, and demilitarization of ammunition and explosive components.
• Operate computer hardware/software and manual records for stock control and accounting procedures.
• Inspect bomb release systems and missile launchers to determine repair or destruction needs.
• Support weapons loading, armament systems, quality assurance, compliance, and standardization of munitions programs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent military/vocational training.
• At least one year of aircraft munitions/weapons maintenance experience.
• Completed USAF Munitions/Weapons Tech School or DoD equivalent.
• Active Secret clearance within the last 12 months (U.S. citizenship required).
• Ability to meet OCONUS deployment criteria, including medical screening and physical requirements.
• Valid U.S. passport (minimum two years validity) and driver’s licenses.
