Senior Accountant – Odoo ERP Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant with deep expertise in Odoo ERP to support the financial operations of a leading supermarket chain in Kuwait. The role focuses on managing the full accounting cycle and ensuring accurate inventory costing within the retail and FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end accounting cycle, including journal entries, month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and monitor payable/receivable balances.
• Perform inventory audits and analyze Cost of Goods Sold using Odoo’s Inventory module.
• Collaborate with procurement and store teams to ensure accurate stock valuation.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of accounting experience in retail or food & beverage sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of retail financial processes and COGS analysis.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Odoo ERP (Accounting and Inventory modules).
