Senior Architect

About the role

Egis is looking for an experienced Senior Architect to join its Kuwait City office. The role serves as the primary design leader, overseeing architectural solutions, coordinating with clients, consultants and internal teams, and driving design strategy for multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural design teams across several simultaneous projects, ensuring clear communication, defined tasks and measurable targets.
• Coordinate architecture, landscape, 3D visualization, MEP and interior design disciplines to deliver cohesive, high‑quality products.
• Act as the day‑to‑day point of contact for clients, external consultants and internal stakeholders, providing transparent communication.
• Research and analyse design briefs, produce sketches, options and diagrams, and document project meetings and coordination sessions.
• Monitor project milestones, review drawings and specifications for accuracy, and implement quality‑assurance procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with RIBA Parts 1, 2 and 3 (or equivalent) and registered architect status.
• Minimum 12 years of professional architectural experience, including at least 4 years in a senior design leadership or project architect role.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex, high‑rise projects.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for architectural design and documentation.
• Strong skills in design visualization tools such as Photoshop and 3ds Max.
• Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook) and project‑management tools.
