Project Engineer I – Buildings Projects

About the role

KBR's Sustainable Technology Solutions group is seeking a Project Engineer I to lead planning, design, procurement, construction and commissioning of office towers and related facilities under PMC contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage engineering, procurement and construction contractors, ensuring delivery through concept, FEED, detailed design, tendering, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP, fire protection, security, ICT, vertical transportation, interior fit‑out) to achieve integrated design solutions.
• Prepare and review scopes of work, technical specifications, tender documents and project milestone reviews.
• Maintain project dashboards, monitor schedule and cost performance, and support earned‑value analysis.
• Ensure compliance with client Basis of Design, local authority regulations, sustainability objectives and international codes.

Required profile

• B.Sc. Engineering (accredited) with at least 15 years total experience, including 10 years in infrastructure/buildings projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior Project Engineer or Project Manager role, preferably in the Middle East.
• Proven ability to work in multicultural environments and manage stakeholder relationships.
