Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate Finance

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will support corporate finance decisions by building robust financial models, forecasting performance, and delivering insightful analysis to senior management. This role is based in Kuwait and works closely with business vertical finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and drive process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze data and develop financial models for strategic decision‑making.
• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and tracking of operational metrics.
• Prepare regular management review materials and report on financial performance.
• Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with business‑unit finance teams to ensure accurate reporting.
• Create standard and ad‑hoc reports, dashboards, and automated forecasting tools.
• Conduct market research, business intelligence, and peer benchmarking.
• Perform business and equity valuations for M&A and exit scenarios.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CFA, CMA, ACCA or CPA are preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in finance & accounts, preferably within corporate finance.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of IFRS and IAS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
• Experience using Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis capabilities.
• Ability to develop automated reporting tools and dashboards.
• Experience in business valuation, M&A analysis, and benchmarking.
