Senior Global Logistics and Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to create and head a new logistics and import‑export department in Hawally, Kuwait. The role will drive daily operations, support business growth and build scalable processes for long‑term expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch the logistics and import‑export department, defining structure, workflows and performance metrics.
• Oversee day‑to‑day freight forwarding, customs clearance and trade‑compliance activities.
• Coordinate international shipments and manage relationships with global agents.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective collaboration and operational excellence.
• Develop business‑development initiatives to expand the company’s market presence.
• Implement and maintain freight management (FMS) and transportation management (TMS) systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, import/export or supply‑chain operations.
• Proven track record in freight operations, customs and trade compliance.
• Strong business‑development background with experience scaling operations.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to build department structures and workflows.
• Fluency in English, Arabic, Malayalam and Hindi.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, especially Teams, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of Freight Management Systems (FMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
