Senior iOS Developer – Banking Applications

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, high‑performance digital banking applications for the Kuwaiti market.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Integrate iOS apps with RESTful APIs, implement secure authentication, biometrics, Keychain storage, encryption, and certificate pinning.
• Apply TDD/BDD practices, create unit, integration, and UI tests with XCTest, XCUITest, and automate acceptance tests using Gherkin/Cucumber.
• Diagnose and resolve crashes, memory issues, performance bottlenecks, and support SIT, UAT, security reviews, and production deployments.
• Manage app signing, provisioning profiles, TestFlight distribution, and App Store releases.
• Collaborate with backend teams on API design, security, monitoring, and troubleshoot Kotlin/Spring Boot services when needed.
• Mentor junior iOS developers and contribute to technical planning and engineering standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of professional iOS development experience delivering production‑grade applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Coordinator, Clean Architecture) and secure mobile authentication (OAuth 2.0, token management, biometrics).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with ability to work cross‑functionally.
