Service Engineer – VRF

About the role

The Service Engineer – VRF will lead after‑sales service operations for variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, ensuring high‑quality maintenance, troubleshooting and optimisation across multiple brands. The role combines hands‑on technical work with supervision of technicians and coordination with OEM support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, servicing and preventive/corrective maintenance on VRF systems from brands such as Samsung, Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG and TCL.
• Diagnose complex faults including communication errors, PCB failures, compressor issues and control system malfunctions.
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls, ensuring timely resolution.
• Supervise and guide technicians during repair and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with OEM technical support for advanced technical problems.
• Prepare accurate service reports, maintenance logs and technical documentation.
• Manage AMC customers, uphold SLAs and drive customer satisfaction.
• Identify spare‑part requirements and work with procurement and OEMs to secure availability.
• Support AMC renewals and identify opportunities for upgrades or additional services.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long‑term service excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience with VRF systems and after‑sales service.
• Experience handling multiple VRF brands preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and lead a service team.
