Civil Site Engineer – 400 kV Overhead Transmission Line

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Site Engineer to lead civil works on a 400 kV overhead transmission line project in Kuwait. The role involves supervising all on‑site construction activities related to tower foundations and ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities for transmission line tower foundations.
• Manage excavation, reinforcement, formwork, concreting, grouting, and back‑filling works.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, consultants and other project disciplines.
• Review civil and structural drawings, identify discrepancies and resolve technical issues.
• Organise inspections, testing and approvals with client/consultant.
• Monitor material quality, workmanship and daily site progress.
• Prepare daily and weekly site reports and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the Planning Engineer on progress scheduling.
• Enforce project HSE requirements on all civil activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil works for high‑voltage overhead transmission line projects.
• Proven experience with transmission tower foundations, preferably 400 kV.
• Strong knowledge of excavation, reinforcement, concrete works, foundations and surveying.
• Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings and specifications.
• Immediate availability.
