Supply Support Activity Turn‑in Section Lead (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Turn‑in Section Lead oversees all retrograde and customer turn‑in operations for the Supply Support Activity (SSA) in Southwest Asia. This position ensures incoming materiel is inspected, documented, cleaned, drained, tagged, processed in GCSS‑Army and prepared for movement or disposition according to LOGCAP V work instructions and Army regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily receipt of retrograde shipments and customer turn‑ins, validating DD Form 1348‑1A, DA Forms 2765‑1 and 3161, Clean & Drain statements and serviceability tags.
• Supervise segregation, processing of discrepant, unserviceable or unidentified items and manage batch‑code handling (F, H, A, B, L, sensitive codes).
• Coordinate DEMIL processes, monitor shelf‑life issues, packaging conditions and ensure compliance with AR 710‑2, AR 735‑5 and DA PAM 710‑2‑2.
• Maintain audit readiness, daily workload logs and weekly/monthly reporting formats.
• Train personnel on GCSS‑Army EUM+, safety, documentation accuracy and handling standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HS diploma with 9+ years of Army supply, logistics and material management experience.
• Active U.S. Secret clearance (preferred) and valid U.S. passport.
• Willingness to deploy throughout the CENTCOM AOR and ability to lift 40 lb.
• HAZMAT/HAZCOM, forklift/MHE certifications (required or obtainable after hire).

Required skills

• GCSS‑Army (including MIGO, PGR/PGI, EUM+ processes).
• Interpretation of technical manuals, serviceability standards and FEDLOG data.
• Knowledge of DEMIL codes, CIIC codes and batch‑code handling.
• Forklift/MHE operation and HAZMAT/HAZCOM safety procedures.
