Systems Administrator II (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Systems Administrator II will provide administration and operational support for servers, workstations and applications within a Windows Active Directory environment. The role involves troubleshooting, system backups, hardware and software installations, and ensuring system availability for both internal and external customers. The position requires a Secret Clearance and the ability to work in a host‑nation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, and print services.
• Administer Exchange servers (2008+) and Outlook Web Access.
• Manage Microsoft System Center tools (SCCM, SCOM, WSUS) and SMS/MOM.
• Perform backups and restores using Veritas Backup Exec.
• Conduct hardware maintenance on Dell, HP, SAN, and fiber switch equipment.

Required profile

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of experience with Windows Server 2012 or later and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with DoD 8570.01M baseline and computing environment certifications.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
