Systems Administrator II - Secret Clearance

About the role

V2X Inc is seeking a Systems Administrator II to provide administration and operational support for servers, workstations and applications within a Windows Active Directory environment in Kuwait City. The role involves coordinating system backups, hardware and software installations, and system upgrades while maintaining compliance with US Army security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, print services and Exchange Server (2008 or higher) including Outlook Web Access.
• Manage Microsoft System Center tools such as SCCM, SCOM, WSUS and perform regular system maintenance and updates.
• Perform backups and restores using VERITAS Backup Exec and ensure system availability.
• Maintain hardware platforms from Dell, HP, LTO tape libraries, fiber switches and SANs, including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Enforce antivirus and security requirements per US Army regulations and support user account management.

Required profile

• Active Secret Clearance and ability to work in a DoD‑compliant environment.
• Minimum five years of hands‑on experience with Windows Server 2012 or newer and Active Directory.
• At least two years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
